Welcome

The Law Society Cricket Club was founded in 1928 and played its first matches in 1929.

At first, the club played most matches at weekend, but gradually evolved into the travelling midweek team it is today.

Approximately 12 matches are played each season, including a weekend trip to Oporto. There is also an occasional weekend in Geneva and longer tours take place every few years.

All cricketers are welcome to join the club. Whilst the objective is to have as many solicitor members as possible, the side no longer has any formal ties to the Law Society and the regulations on membership are therefore not as strict as they once were.
